About Our Captain

When you fish with Capt Dustin and Right Tide Fishing Co you will be fishing on a 23 ft Skeeter Sx230 and will be targeting speckled trout, redfish and flounder. Capt Dustin is a USCG Captain with 20 years of saltwater fishing experience and has been guiding on Sabine lake since 2015. Capt Dustin has a passion for teaching and educating his clients on the species they will be targeting during the trip and loves sharing his passion for the outdoors with his customers! At Right Tides we pride ourselves for being the hardest working guides on the water and being the most professional charter there is! Our trips start at 6 am and run until 1 pm for our full day trips and our half day trips run from 6 am to 11 am!

We will use a combination of artificial and live bait depending on the fishing patterns of the season.

Most days start off chasing speckled trout early and moving to redfish as the sun rises and our visibility increases! Sabine lake is known for catching numbers of speckled trout and redfish, but don’t worry if flounder is what you’re after we have them too!

During the summer months we have a seasonal migration of triple tail and cobia off the beach and if weather permits we can chase them also!

Capt Dustin is always willing to teach younger anglers or anglers wanting to increase their knowledge on saltwater fishing. Right Tides is an inshore fishing charter that offers the best service you will find on Sabine lake!

At the end of the day Capt Dustin will fillet any fish caught  and kept and will package them for the customers to take not only their experience but some fillets home as well! We hope to have the opportunity to show you one awesome adventure here at Right Tides Fishing Co!
